"I have bought several refurbished items on other sites and they have not worked or broke quickly. I needed an item and found Porter Electronics. "I have about 200 S-VHS master footage tapes and I had no way to play any of them. I bought an SVHS deck from Porters and I was so worried that the deck might not be able to play my tapes and I would just be out the $275.00. There was a 2-3 week shipping delay while they were trying to get me an original remote for my deck. When the unit came it was packaged sooooo carefully with lots of protective packaging. Honestly the deck looked almost new!"
